Hi I’m Praveen Thrivikraman, the hands behind Travancore Woodcraft. By day I work in tech—by night and weekends, I shape wood in my Jacksonville shop.

The name comes from Travancore, Kerala—my roots and a place of deep craft tradition. I didn’t inherit tools or a family trade, just a fascination with wood’s color, grain, and quiet dignity. That spark grew into a self-built shop, learned skills, and a vision for pieces that last.

For me, woodworking isn’t just a pastime—it’s about slowing down, honoring nature, and crafting something meaningful, one project at a time.
